Changing Oil
Refer to

Change the oil with the final drive at
normal operating temperature to assure
complete and rapid draining.

Place the motorcycle on its side stand
on a firm, level surface.

Remove bolt A ( ), bolt B ( ) and
.
washers.

Pull out the prong ( ) from the grommet

( ), and remove the final gear cover ( ).
Place a drain pan under the oil drain

bolt ( ).

Remove the oil filler cap ( ), oil drain
bolt and sealing washer ( ).
6.
After the oil has completely drained,
check that the sealing washer is in good
condition. Reinstall the oil drain bolt
with its sealing washer (or a new
washer, if necessary) and tighten it to
the specified torque:
9 lbf·ft (12 N·m , 1.2 kgf·m)
