Selecting Preset Voices

You can select and play various preset Voices. To reset to the default Voice (CFX Grand), press the
[FUNCTION] button.

Playback of Songs

You can play back preset Songs. To stop playback, press the [FUNCTION] button. During Song playback,
the Stream Lights indicate the particular keys and the timing (page 23). You can turn the Stream Lights
setting on or off with the Smart Pianist smart device app.

Playing with a Style

This instrument can detect chords from the notes you play on the keyboard and produce accompaniment
according to the chords.

While holding down [FUNCTION], press one of the C2 – A2 keys.
The rhythm of the selected Style starts and continues to play unchanged until you play a key.

Play the keyboard with the rhythm.
As soon as you press a key (any key will do), the sound of bass or other musical instruments
starts playing. By default, the area of chord detection (called the "Chord Section") is comprised
of the entire keyboard.
You can change the Chord Section. Refer to the Smart Pianist smart device app.
NOTE
To turn specific parts on or off, press the appropriate key (A4 – B4) while holding down the [FUNCTION] button.

After you have finished the performance, press the [FUNCTION] button to stop the
Style.
