10. SERVICE LIFE LIMIT OF VIGIL® Cuatro UNITS
The VIGIL Cuatro has been designed for maximum 20 years of use. It will do a complete check of each operating

parameter each time it is switched on. If a parameter is out of tolerance, this will be indicated on the Control Unit
display screen, and the unit will not switch on.

AAD NV/SA intensively tests each VIGIL
documented technical inspections, calibration tests, quality control inspections and a final functional test (7 simulated
jumps in a test chamber) before shipment. These are all documented and available to customers. However, the risk of
electronic, mechanical or external factors causing a malfunction or failure cannot be totally excluded.
BUYER UNDERSTANDS THAT BECAUSE OF THE UNAVOIDABLE DANGER
ASSOCIATED WITH THE USE OF A PARACHUTE SYSTEM, SKYDIVING, AND
THE USE OF A VIGIL
WHATSOEVER, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, ARISING BY LAW OR OTHERWISE,
EXCEPT THAT THE MANUFACTURER WILL REPLACE OR REWORK DEFECTIVE
PARTS FREE OF CHARGE WITHIN TWO YEARS FROM THE DATE OF
PURCHASE. OTHER THAN THE FOREGOING, THE VIGIL
