Security Option

This category allows you to limit access to the system and
Setup, or just to Setup.
System
Setup (default)
OS Select For DRAM
Select the operating system that is running with greater
than 64MB of RAM on the system.
The Choices: Non-OS2(default), OS2
Video BIOS Shadow
Determines whether video BIOS will be copied to RAM
for faster execution.
Enabled (default)
Disabled
C8000-CFFFF Shadow / D0000-DFFFF Shadow
Determines whether video BIOS will be copied to RAM
for faster execution.
Enabled
Disabled (default)
Note: For C8000-DFFFF option-ROM on PCI BIOS,
BIOS will automatically enable the shadow RAM. User
does not have to select the item.
The system will not boot and
access to Setup will be denied
if the correct password is not
entered in prompt.
The system will boot, but
access to Setup will be denied
if the correct password is not
entered in prompt.
Optional ROM is enabled.
Optional ROM is disabled.
