Installing the CFP module
1.
Put on an ESD wrist strap. Make sure it has close skin contact and is correctly grounded.
2.
Unpack the CFP module.
3.
Insert the CFP module gently into the port until it fits in completely.
4.
Fasten the captive screws on the CFP module.

NOTE:
•
Unsmooth installation for the 40-Gbps CFP module is likely to occur due to the bump design on its top.
The appearance of 100-Gbps CFP module differs from that of the 40-Gbps CFP module.

Connecting an optical fiber
1.
Put on an ESD wrist strap, and make sure it has close skin contact, and is correctly grounded.
2.
Remove the dust plug from the fiber connector, and use dust free paper and absolute alcohol to
clean the end face of the fiber connector.
