Obtaining OB Calculations

Standard Fetal Measurements:

1. Press CALIPER key

2. Use TRACKBALL to select measurement from on-screen menu

3. Press SET

4. Place first caliper

5. Press SET

6. Place subsequent caliper(s)

7. Press Set

Measurement will be displayed on screen and transferred to Worksheet

Measure Heart Rate with M- Mode:

1. Press M key and obtain M-Mode sweep. Freeze sweep

2. Roll TRACKBALL to select HR from measurement. Press SET

3. Roll TRACKBALL to place measurement marker at the beginning of the cardiac cycle. Press SET

4. Roll TRACKBALL to place second measurement marker at the end of the cardiac cycle. Press SET

5. Heart rate will be diplayed on screen and transferred to Worksheet

Measure AFI using 4B

1. Press 4B on control panel

2. Obtain first quadrant image

3. Press Freeze

4. Repeat process until 4 quadrant images have been

obtained

5. Press 4B to cycle through images as needed

6. Press CALIPER

Editing Measurements in the Worksheet

1. Display Worksheet by highlighting Worksheet in the Measurement Menu and press SET

2. Roll trackball to value to be deleted/edited and press SET

3. Use the keyboard to delete or edit value

4. Press ENTER. The system updates the value

7. Roll TRACKBALL to select AFI from measurement

8. Press SET

9. Place first measurement marker and press SET

10. Place second measurement marker and press SET

11. Repeat this process in each quandrant

12. AFI will be displayed on screen and transferred to
