2.4 Installation of Optional Cards and Unit

2.4.10 Doorphone and Door Opener Connection

To connect up to two doorphones (KX-T30865) and up to two door openers (user-supplied), a
Doorphone Card (KX-TD160) is required.
Installing the Doorphone
1.
Loosen the screw to separate the doorphone into two halves.
2.
Install the base cover to the wall with two screws.
Note
Two kinds of screws are included. Please choose the appropriate one depending on your
wall type:

Connect the wires to the screws located in the front cover.
To the terminal box (See
"Wiring of the Doorphone".)
4.
Secure both halves together and re-install the screw.

Type 2: When you wish to install the doorphone directly to the wall.
