KEYS / RADIO FREQUENCY REMOTE CONTROL (battery)
Note: On certain cars, if a door is not
opened
within
approximately
30 seconds of the doors being
unlocked using the remote control,
the
doors
will
automatically.
Interference
Interference may be caused to the
operation of the remote control by
factors in the immediate vicinity
(external installations or the use of
equipment operating on the same
frequency as the remote control).
If a plip remote control has been
lost or if you need another set of
keys or a plip remote control unit,
contact your Renault Dealer as only
he can help.
• If a remote control unit is
replaced, it will be necessary to
take the car to your Renault dealer
as the car and the unit are needed
together for initialisation.
• It is not possible to use more than
two remote control units for one
car.
• Make sure the batteries are always
in good condition; they have a
service life of approximately two
years.

Replacing the battery
Slide the cover on the remote
control 1.
The batteries can be obtained
from your Renault Dealer. These
batteries should last about two
years.
A delay of 1 second is required
between locking and unlocking
actions.

Replace the battery 2 as shown on
the cover.
Note: It is advisable not to touch the
electronic circuit in the key cover
when replacing the battery.
