    BATTERY OPERATION AC ADAPT OPERATION Plug the adaptor into an AC power outlet. Slide the battery lid. Insert the adaptor's small connector plug into the DC JACK marked on the unit (on the right side of the unit). Insert two AA batteries Turn on the unit.
