Starting a warm engine
To
start
a warm engine, the starter lever is
not requ ired.
Warming up
To get maximum engine life, always
"warm
up" the engine about 1-3 minutes before rid-
ing the bike. Never
accelerat
e hard with a
cold eng ine.

Starting the bike
After warmping up the engine;
1.
Hold
the
brake
lever
(for the rear brake)
with
your left hand,
and push
the
bike
off the center
stand
while
holdi
ng the
rack
(carrier) with
your right hand.
