Top up the special salt as follows:
Undo the screw plug on the

Using detergent with a salt
component
In general, you can use detergent with a
salt component up to a water hardness
level of 21 °dH (37 °fH, 26 °Clark,
3.7 mmol/L) without adding special salt.
Above a water hardness value of 21
°dH, use additional special salt.
Switching off salt refill
indicator/water softening unit
If the salt refill indicator )* bothers you
(e.g. if you are using a combination
detergent with a salt component), you
can switch off the salt refill indicator.
Proceed as described under "Setting
water softening unit" and set the value
to •:‹‹. The water softening unit and
the salt refill indicator are switched off.
Rinse aid en

Rinse aid

The rinse aid ensures stain-free dishes
R i n s e a i d
and clear glasses. Use only rinse aid
for domestic dishwashers. As soon as
the rinse aid refill indicator h lights up
in the control panel, there is still a rinse
aid reserve of 1-2 rinse cycles. Top up
the rinse aid.
Top up the rinse aid as follows:
Open dispenser 9"; press lug on
1.
the lid (1) and lift (2).
Add rinse aid up to the max. mark.

Close the lid.
3.
The lid "clicks" into position.
Remove overflowed rinse aid with a
4.
cloth.
This prevents excessive frothing
during the next rinse cycle.
