Section 3 - Configuration
This page allows you to configure the DIR-608's virtual server so that remote users accessing
Web services via the public IP address can be automatically redirected to local servers on
the LAN (Local Area Network). The DIR-608 is also capable of port-redirection, meaning
that incoming traffic to a particular port may be redirected to a different port on the server
computer.
Usual Service
Select an application from the drop-down menu or type a name in
Name:
the next field.
User-defined
Enter a service name.
Service Name:
Protocol:
Select TCP or UDP from the Protocol drop-down menu.
WAN Port:
Enter the WAN port number.
LAN Open Port:
Enter the LAN Open port number.
LAN IP Address:
Enter the IP address of the computer on your local network that you
want to allow the incoming service to.
Click the Apply Changes button to save any changes made. The virtual server will then be
added to the Current Virtual Server Forwarding Table below. To delete or disable a virtual
server, click the Delete or Disable buttons in the Action field of the virtual server in the table.
