Shared Folder Settings

This section describes the settings required for the Controller to use the Windows shared folder as a
Virtual SD Memory Card.
Refer to the NY-series Industrial Panel PC / Industrial Box PC Software User's Manual (Cat. No.
W558) for details on the function of a Virtual SD Memory Card.

Windows Settings

Prepare a Windows user account with which you access the shared folder directly or through the Con-
troller.
Create a user account first.
Creating a User Account
Create a new user account with which you access the shared folder through the Controller.
First log onto Windows with a user account of administrator level that was created at the Windows set-
tings, and then perform the following procedures.

Select Control Panel from the Windows start menu.
The Controller Panel is displayed.

Select Add or remove user accounts on the Control Panel.
