Failure Investigation for Electronic Parts Cannot sew button holes well
Is the resistance between the BH lever
switch connector pins 4 & 5 normal?
• BH lever down ...... 1Ω or less
• BH lever up .......... ∞
With the BH lever down, are the
resistance values between the BH
switch connector pins 1 & 2 and pins
2 & 3 normal?
• BH lever pulled forward
• BH lever pushed back
5 - 10

Cannot sew button holes well

Is the correct presser being used?

Pins 1 – 2...1 Ω or less, pins 2 – 3...∞
Pins 1 – 2...∞, pins 2 – 3...1 Ω or less
Y
Replace the main PCB assy.

Change to correct presser
Adjust the BH lever

Adjust the BH lever
