7.4.10 Utility—Monitor/Trace—T1 Line Trace
Traces the sent and received signaling bits and dial numbers on the specified channel of the T1 line of a card
installed in a legacy gateway. This utility is intended for use by dealers.
For information about legacy gateways, see 9.28 PBX Configuration—[1-1]
Configuration—Slot—Legacy-GW1/Legacy-GW2.
This option is only available at Installer level, and requires that the target card be set to INS status.
To view trace data
1.
From the Site-Shelf-Slot No. drop-down list, select the target slot. Each card will be preceded by the
pattern "X-Y-Z" as follows:
•
X: Site number (1–16)
•
Y: Shelf number (2–3 [Corresponding to Legacy Gateway 1 or 2])
•
Z: Slot number (1–11)
2.
From the CH No drop-down list, select the target channel.
3.
Click Start.
Trace information will be displayed. The information is automatically updated whenever the data being
monitored changes.
4.
Click Stop to end the trace.
5.
Select an option:
•
Click Capture to save the displayed trace information.
Information will be saved to the PC as a text-format file.
•
Click Clear to erase the information.
