CAUTION:
To avoid damage to the processor, do not touch the bottom of the processor, especially the contact
area.
16. Remove the system board from the base pan.
17. Install the processor socket protective cover in each processor socket on the damaged system board.
To replace the system board:
1.
Install the system board in the base pan.
IMPORTANT:
Install all components in the same configuration prior to removing the system board.
2.
If the compute module had only one processor installed, install the heatsink blank in processor
socket 2.
3.
Open each of the processor locking levers in the order indicated in the following illustration, and then
open the processor retaining bracket.
