Step Checks
1 Check the stapler shift home
position sensor. Is the sensor
normal?
2 Is the wiring between the
finisher controller PCB and
the stapler shift motor
normal?
3 Is there any mechanical
obstacle in the path of the
stapler shift base?
4 Replace the stapler motor. Is
the problem corrected?
Step Checks
1 Turn the swing motor in
reverse by hand. Does the
swing guide move up and
down?
2 Is the swing guide closed
detection switch 2 normal?
3 Does the swing motor rotate
in reverse at a specific timing?
Yes/No Action
No Replace the sensor.
No Correct the wiring.
Yes Remove the
mechanical obstacles.
Yes End
No Replace the finisher
controller PCB.
Yes/No Action
No Correct the swing
mechanism.
No Replace the
microswitch.
