Securing the Power Adaptor
A basic installation may leave the external power adaptor exposed to the
elements. It is recommended that you use either an extension cord so the power
adaptor can be placed indoors, or an electrical junction box.
DC Extension Cord
The specification of the extension cord, if needed, are as follows:

Custom length, 2-core copper conductor, type SPT-1 (UL/CSA style), 18
AWG, texture ≥ 2 x 0.824 mm², withstand 105° C, and 300V
Electrical Junction Box
The suggested requirements of the electrical junction box, if needed, are as
follows:
•
Protection level IP66 or above; inner size at least W151 mm x L 118 mm x H38
mm; material should be aluminium alloy
Plastic pipe or conduit should be used to waterproof and protect the cables and

cords.
