Connecting to an AV amplifier (receiver) having a Dolby Surround (Pro

Logic) decoder and 3 to 6 speakers
This connection will allow you to enjoy the surround effects of the Dolby Surround (Pro Logic)
decoder on your amplifier (receiver). If you have an AV amplifier (receiver) equipped with a
Dolby Digital or DTS decoder, refer to page 25.
You can enjoy the Dolby Surround effects only when playing Dolby Surround audio or multi-
channel audio (Dolby Digital) discs.
This connection needs a minimum of 3 speakers (front L and R, and rear (monaural)). The
surround effects are enhanced if 6 speakers (front L and R, center, rear L and R, and subwoofer)
are used.
