INTRODUCTION Troubleshooting is a collection of solution procedures that service personnel should follow if an error or malfunction occurs in the machine. It is difficult to determine troubleshooting procedures for all possible problems that may occur in the future. Therefore, this chapter describes typical problems and recovery procedures for these.

    1.2 Checks before Commencing Troubleshooting Check the following items before commencing repairs on the machine.  Operating environment (1) The machine is placed on a flat, stable surface. (2) The machine is used in a clean environment where the temperature is 10°C (50°F) to 32°C (89.6°F), and the relative humidity is maintained between 20% and 80%.
