2. Connection
Main volta ge must correspond t o the ope ration voltage marke d
on the r ating pla te . Switch in "Off" position.
To prevent overbridging of the protecting insulation, no addi-
tionul marking plates and signs must be rivete d or scr ewed. W e
recommend the use of transfers.
The scr ewdriver is provided with a rev ersing switch for clock-
wise and anticlockwise rotation. It must not b e ope rate d when
the machine is running.
A djustment of the torque:
The machmes are provided with a simple jaw clutch coupling.
The torque is adjusted by changing the position of the clutch
claws; the deeper the gripping of the claw, the highe r the torque .
In order to adjust the claws, turn screw (51) , after h aving
scr ew e d off the ret a iner r ing (59), the guide bushing (58) an d
the b earing sleeve (53) and loosed thread pin (52).
Th e torqu e is de p enden t on the pressure of the screwdr iver
against the screw.

3. Maintenance and Lubrication
Before carrying out any maintenance work pull out plug.
Afte r 300 working hours clean a ir openings of the motor hous-
ing. Blow out m otor w ith dry pneumatic air. Renew the gear
gre ase .
Loosen screws (75, 76) a nd t ake off gear head.
Only u se the Fein sp e cial grease Sst 1. Quantity of gre ase : 60 g.
Order r efe r en ce for tube of approx. 90 g : M Z 60-3/ Sst 1.
After 900 working hours clean machine th o rough ly. Rinse gears
a nd b earings in clean solvent and p ack w ith fresh grease Sst 1.
The space between inne r and outer ring is to be one third fill ed
with gr ease in order that th e b earings do not overheat.

Clean electric parts only dry.
Replace carb on b rush es when they h ave worn d own to 7 mm
(0.28 in.) . To r e place brushes see p ar agraph 4, sections 1 and 3.
