Components characteristics and repairs
Following section is divided in two chapters. The chapter one takes in consideration the checks in the installation
place, surrounding area and storage tank components, in order to be sure that the installer respects and complies
with installation recommendation of the manual and the use of the best practices.
The second chapter refers to the refrigeration unit, where the access, maintenance and repairs can only be done
by specialized refrigerant technicians with an adequate and specialized training, regarding the specific country
legislation in this matter.
For the Hydraulic connections, the following information from installation manual must be checked by the
technician:
Cold water Inlet – existence of accessory to convert from tank connection to pipe diameter;
Recirculation – in case of no use, this connection must be sealed;
External Coil – in case of no use one of the connections should be closed by normal shut off valves;
The integration of the heat pump with existent or even new installations must be according local standards and
application of main and best practices in plumbing and accessories installation concerning installation manual.
