Step 1.
Remove the cover (see "Removing the compute node cover" on page 113).
Step 2.
Place the power paddle card on the mounting studs in the GPU tray with an angle.

Step 3.
Install the four screws that secure the power paddle card to the GPU tray.

Step 4.
Reconnect the power paddle card cables.
Step 5.
Reinstall the GPU air baffle (see "Replacing the air baffle" on page 117).
Step 6.
Reinstall the cover (see "Installing the compute node cover" on page 115).
Step 7.
Slide the compute node into the rack.
Step 8.
Reconnect the power cords and any cables that you removed.
Step 9.
Turn on the peripheral devices and the compute node.
Removing the system battery
Use this information to remove the CMOS battery.
Before you remove the system battery, complete the following steps:
