Step 4.
Reinstall the cover (see "Installing the compute node cover" on page 115).
Step 5.
Slide the compute node into the rack.
Step 6.
Reconnect the power cords and any cables that you removed.
Step 7.
Turn on the peripheral devices and the compute node.

Removing the power paddle card from the GPU tray

Use this information to remove the paddle card from the GPU tray.
Before you remove the paddle card, complete the following steps:
1. Read "Safety" on page v and "Installation guidelines" on page 101.
2. If the compute node is installed in a NeXtScale n1200 Enclosure, remove it (see "Removing a compute
node from a chassis" on page 104 for instructions).
3. Carefully lay the compute node on a flat, static-protective surface, orienting the compute node with
the bezel pointing toward you.
To remove the paddle card from the GPU tray, complete the following steps:
Step 1.
Remove the cover (see "Removing the compute node cover" on page 113).
Step 2.
Remove the GPU air baffle (see "Removing the air baffle" on page 116).
Step 3.
Make a note of where cables are attached to the power paddle card; then, disconnect them.
Step 4.
Remove the four screws that secure the power paddle card to the GPU tray and save them for
future use.
