Cleaning the document feed roller-1
If the document jamming or overlapping frequently occurs, clean the document feed roller-1
with a cotton swab dampened with a small amount of a neutral detergent.
1. Open the original document tray,
2. Open the operation panel, and then raise the
document release lever.
3. In order to rotate the document feed roller-1,
press the document sensor as shown in the
illustration.

4. Clean the document feed roller-1, then dry
it thoroughly to prevent a document
from jamming.

5. Reposition the release lever and close the
operation panel.
