Environmental Monitoring

The system components use environmental monitoring hardware to detect transmit power readings, receive
power readings, and temperature updates.
To receive periodic power updates, enable the enable optic-info-update interval command. The
output in the following example displays the environment status of the RPM.

Displaying Port Extender Environment
Information
To display environment details for each port extender, use the show environment pe pe-id command.
Dell#show environment pe pe-id
To display information of hardware components of control bridge only, use the show environment all
command.
