■ Notes on software update
• You can use the wireless LAN (Wi-Fi
packet communication to download data when
updating your software.
• You are charged for data communication when
connecting to the Internet from the product by using
packet communication.
• When software update is necessary, you will be

au shop or Customer Service Center (call toll-free
157). In addition, users of this product will receive a
notice from au, when software update is necessary to
improve the functionality of this product.
• Note that updating software may take some time to
complete. The product is unusable until updating is
complete.
• Be sure to confirm that the product has sufficient
remaining battery capacity before executing a
software update operation.
• Be sure to update software in a location where signal
conditions are good, and do not move the product
while updating is in progress.
