    1) Your TV can accept progressive signals, a progressive scan TV is required. 2) You have connected the DVD player to your TV using Y Pb Pr (see page 7.) Turn on your TV. Turn off your TV progressive scan mode or turn on interlaced mode (refer to your TV user manual.)

    If DIGITAL OUTPUT is set to ‘All’, all audio settings except MUTE are invalid. LPCM Output If you connect the DVD Player to a PCM compatible receiver via the digital terminals, such as coaxial or optical etc, you may need to adjust ‘LPCM Output’.

    Sound Mode The options included in Sound Mode Setup are: ‘3D’, ‘Movie Mode’ and ‘Music Mode’. In ‘AUDIO SETUP PAGE’, press 3 4 to highlight {SOUND MODE}, then press 2. Press the 3 4 keys to highlight an option. Enter its submenu by pressing 2. Press 3 4 to select a setting, then press OK to confirm your selection.

    DVD Setup Menu Options Night Mode - turning on/off In this mode, the high volume outputs are softened and low volume outputs are brought upward to an audible level. It is useful for watching your favourite action movie without disturbing others at night. In ‘AUDIO SETUP PAGE’, press 3 4 to highlight {NIGHT MODE}, then press 2.

    Setting the TV Display Set the aspect ratio of the DVD Player according to the TV you have connected. The format you select must be available on the disc. If it is not, the setting for TV display will not affect the picture during playback.
