    Preparation General notes ¶ Depending on your TV and other equipment you wish to connect, there are various ways you could connect the player.     S-VIDEO OUT Cinemalink (on SCART) This DVD player is equipped with cinemalink feature (from Philips) which allows a more complete control of your home audio/video (AV) equipment. Cinemalink interconnection plug & play will enable the AV system to recognise the users intention and automatically switch the necessary controls or input source accordingly.

    Menu bar operation ¶ A number of operations can be carried out via the menu bar on the screen. The menu bar can be accessed by pressing any of the following keys on the remote control: MENU OSD, T-C, Angle, Audio Language, Subtitle Language and Zoom.

    Operation Loading discs Press OPEN/CLOSE on the front of the player. The disc tray opens. Load your chosen disc in the tray, label side up (also when a double sided DVD is inserted). Make sure it is sitting properly in the correct recess. Press OPEN/CLOSE, to close the tray.
