    General explanation About this manual This manual gives the basic instructions for operating this DVD player. Some DVDs require specific operation or allow only limited operation during playback. In these cases, the player may not respond to all operating commands.When this occurs, please refer to the instructions contained with the DVD.

    If the picture is distorted completely or if the picture rolls vertically, make sure the NTSC/PAL setting at the DVD player matches the video signal of your television. If your TV video signal is NTSC, select the NTSC setting at the DVD player.
