Receiver does not work

Use Phoenix to set the phone to local mode and activate RX-burstmode Ch. 37; furthermore set RF-
generator to high RF-level output, for example –40dBm.
First of all check 942.4MHz Rx-signal at L804/805:
If already this signal is not measurable, most probably
there is a problem with the antenna switch module
Z800, or the RX-lines are interrupted.
If 942.4MHz RX-signal at L804/805 is ok, check
RXIQ-signals at J730/731 with an oscilloscope:
In case the signals at J730/731 are ok but RX-
calibration is not possible within the given limits,
most probably there is a problem with UEME D250,
which is underfilled and therefore not changeable.
If the RXIQ-signals at J730/731 are not measurable or corrupted, check the following signals that
RF-chip N500 needs for proper function:
- check VR1A 4.7VDC at C516, VR2 2.8VDC at C513
- check VR3 2.8VDC at C522, VR4 2.8VDC at C519
- check VR5 2.8VDC at C517, VR6 2.8VDC at C521
- check VR7 2.8VDC at both sides of L505, VrefRF01
1.35VDC at C524
- check 3769.6MHz signal of SHF-oscillator at R503
as shown on the right:
If the incoming RX-signal at L804/805, and the above mentioned signals are ok but no RXIQ-signal
is measurable at J730/731, most probably the RF-chip N500 is defect. Exchange part with BGA
rework system and realign RX/TX values of the phone!
