    OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS Compressor Temperature Fast freeze Temperature On/Off button on indicator Indicator indicator set button CONTROL PANEL POWER ON/OFF Note: If moved, always leave the freezer to stand upright for ~4 hours before connecting to power. To start, connect to power, close the freezer lid and press the On/Off button for ~3 seconds. The indicators will flash briefly, the temperature indicator will then light up (showing the previous setting) and shortly after the compressor will start up.
  • Page 6 DEFROSTING THE FREEZER For the most efficient operation and minimum energy consumption, defrost the freezer when the frost on the freezer walls is excessive or 5 to 10 mm thick. Choose a time when the stock of frozen food is low. CAUTION: Do not use boiling water because it may damage the plastic parts.

    CARE AND MAINTENANCE CLEANING THE FREEZER Upon installation of your new appliance, it is recommended that it be cleaned thoroughly. Turn the temperature setting to MIN, turn off the power to the freezer, unplug the freezer, remove the food and storage basket.
