Printing Methods (6050A)
2.1 Overview of the 6030/6050/6050A Wide Format Printer

Documents may be submitted from a client to the 6050A Wide Format Printer
using any of the following.
•
Ethernet (Direct) Printing
Printing takes place over TCP/IP networks using lpr protocol or raw sockets.
Refer to "Chapter 6 Ethernet Print Service (for UNIX)" for details on available
functions.
•
Wide Format Windows Driver / PostScript Driver
®
The Microsoft Windows
documents from various Windows applications. A feature key is required for the
Accxes controller to print Postscript/PDF files.
Serial output is not supported by the Wide Format Windows Driver.

for details on available functions.

Accxes Client Tools (Ver. 12.01.41)
Accxes Client Tools is printer support software that runs on Windows
Solaris operating systems. Using the Accxes Client Tools simple user interface,
the user can submit documents to the 6050A Wide Format printer.
Refer to the Xerox 6050A Accxes Client Tools User Guide for details on
available functions.

Instant Accxes (Ver. 12.5)
Provides pubicly shared "Instant Folders" (networked folders) to which print
options are applied automatically allowing for the automation of document
printing. Instant Folders show up within your Microsoft
Neighborhood" once InstantAccxes is configured and enabled. InstantAccxes is
officially supported on Microsoft
