I PROTECTION INFORMATION /
It is possible to have the protection information displayed
on a PC connected to this unit.
Equipment required
• PC with RS-232C serial port
• Display application software (Terminal software such as
hyper terminal supplied with WINDOWS)
• RS-232C cross cable "D-Sub 9-pin Female".

Operation
1. With the power turned off, connect the RS-232C cross
cable to the PC and the RS-232C terminal of this unit.
2. Turn on the power to the PC and make the terminal
software settings as follows.
Baud rate : 9600
Data : 8 bit
Parity : None
Stop bit : 1 bit
Flow control : Hardware flow
3. Set the leftmost (closest to the RS-232C connector) DIP
switch on the rear panel of the main unit to the ON
position.
4. With the unit set in the standby state, press the
"STANDBY/ON" key while pressing the "MUTE" key on
the rear panel of the unit and keep pressing them for 3
seconds or longer.

本機に接続したPC上にプロテクション情報を表示することができ
ます。
必要なツール
・ RS-232Cシリアルポート付きPC
・ 表示アプリケーション （WINDOWS付属のハイパーターミナル
等のターミナルソフト）
・ RS-232Cクロスケーブル "D-sub ９pin メス"

操作
1. パワーオフ状態で、RS-232CクロスケーブルをPCと本機の
RS-232C端子に接続します。
2. PCの電源をONし、ターミナルソフトを以下のように設定しま
す。
ボーレート ：9600
データ ：8ビット
パリティ ：なし
ストップビット：1ビット
フロー制御 ：ハードフロー
3. 本機リアパネルにあるDIPスイッチの一番左 （RS-232Cコネ
クタに一番近いスイッチ） を "ON" にします。
4. スタンバイ状態で、本機リアパネルにある "MUTE" キーを押し
ながら "STANDBY/ON" キーを押し、両方を3秒間以上押し
続けます。
