The washer must only be installed by a Miele
authorized service technician.

This washer-extractor is only intended for
laundry which has not come in contact with
flammable substances.
Before installation or service disconnect the power
supply to the work area.
Do not install or store this machine in a room
where temperatures below freezing may occur or
where the machine may be exposed to the
weather.
Do not install the washer on carpeting. Carpeting
will block the washers air vents.

The minimum dimensions and distance
required from the wall, as shown in the installation
diagram, must be observed to allow service to be
performed and the data plate to be viewed.
Minimum distance from the wall is approx.15 3/4"
(400 mm) to allow for maintenance work.
The washer must be leveled for proper operation. The
machine does not need to be installed on a base,
however, any unevenness in the floor must be
compensated for.

Only move the machine if all panels are in
place.

Installation Instructions

Plinth
A concrete or reinforced floor is the most suitable
surface for the washer. These types of floors are less
prone to vibration during the spin cycle.
The base must be secured to the floor.
