Problem
Engine will not start

Cracked spark plug insulator
Incorrect spark plug gap
Engine ! ooded
Incorrect or stale fuel
No fuel in tank
Clogged air cleaner
Fuel line/passage clogged
Carbon build up in muf! er
Use incorrect or stale fuel
Piston seizure
Machine is overworked
Switch is bumped
Shorting of spark plug
Piston scored
Fuel tank is empty
Carburettor or fuel tank clogged
Stop wire disconnected from the
switch
Overheated engin
Loose engine and/or pump
mounts
Tank leak
Leak at the tube connections
No chemical diluted liquid in the
sprayer tank
Valves inside the pump clogged
Cock valve blocked
Incorrect pressure setting-too low
Pump is worn out or damaged
Spray rod nozzle clogged
Remedy
Clean or replace the spark plug
Replace the spark plug
Adjust gap 0.6 - 0.7mm
Crank engine with choke open and full throt-
tle to clear excess

Drain and replace with correct fuel/oil mixture
Refuel with correct fuel/oil mixture
Clean and lubricate air cleaner
