Installation, Operation & Maintenance Instructions
GENERAL
Slope top heaters are designed to mount on the wall at sill height (or lower) and can be positioned directly on the floor. The end of
the unit can be positioned against adjacent sidewall if desired. Units are prewired and are designed for either right hand or left hand
entry for easy connection of supply wiring from bottom, rear, or end, as well as multiple wiring of adjacent heaters from one entry
point.
WHEN USING ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES, BASIC PRECAU-
TIONS SHOULD ALWAYS BE FOLLOWED TO REDUCE
THE RISK OF FIRE, ELECTRIC SHOCK, AND INJURY TO
PERSONS, INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING:
1. Read all instructions before installing or using the heater.
2. A heater has hot and arcing or sparking parts inside. Do not
use in areas where gasoline or flammable liquids are used
or stored.
3. This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let
bare skin touch hot surfaces. Keep combustible materials,
such as boxes, crates, furniture, pillows, bedding, papers,
clothes, and curtains away from heater.

4. To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or
exhaust in any manner.
5. Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation
or exhaust opening as this may cause an electric shock or
fire, or damage the heater.
6. Serious injury or death could result from electric shock.
Make sure electrical power supply circuit coming to heater
is disconnected at main disconnect or service panel before
installing or servicing this heater.
7. This heater is not for residential or household use.

    BASEBOARD HEATER 2. A vacuum cleaner and /or compressed air may be used to remove dust and lint that may have accumulated inside MARLEY ENGINEERED PRODUCTS heater around element fins. If heater must be dissembled for BENNETTSVILLE, SC 29512 4104-2194-001 cleaning, remove the screws securing front cover and remove front cover to allow for access to inside.

    Marley Engineered Products Service Center. Within the limitations of this warranty, inoperative units should be returned to the nearest Marley authorized service cen- ter or the Marley Engineered Products Service Center, and we will repair or replace, at our option, at no charge to you with return freight paid by Marley. It is agreed that such repair or replacement is the exclusive remedy available from Marley Engineered Products.
