Wall mounting

A Threaded bolt (2x)
B Mounting plate (2x)
C Countersunk screw (4x)
D Dowel (4x)
First Use of the Device/Introduction
NOTE:
• The device is operated primarily with the remote con-
trol. Thus the descriptions refer to the buttons on the
remote control. Some buttons are also on the device.
Buttons with the same name have the same function.
• The buttons on the device are touch buttons. Touch the
buttons lightly with a finger to perform the function.
• Select a proper place for the device. A dry, level and slip
proof surface is suitable.
• Make sure the device is vented sufficiently!
• Remove the protective film from the device, if present.
Wall mounting (Sound bar)
You can also mount the device to the wall.
CAUTION:
Make sure beforehand whether there are cables in the wall
which could be damaged!
NOTE: Check the reach of the cable!
To mount the device, make sure that an easily accessible
plug outlet is available within reach of the power cable.
The distance between the mountings for wall mounting is
660 mm.
• Hold the mounting plate (B) to the wall so that the above-
listed distance is kept horizontally and from the center of
the mounting plates.
• Mark the four positions of the mounting holes with a pen-
cil.
• Drill the mounting holes (diameter 6 mm).
• Stick the dowels (D) into the boreholes and fasten
the mounting plates to the wall with the countersunk
screws (C).
• Twist the threaded bolts (A) into the back side of the
sound bar so far that there is enough space between the
wall and the connection cable.
CAUTION: IMPORTANT!
For an optimal wall mounting we recommend the use
of connection cables with an angled connection. You
can obtain corresponding cables from the specialist
shop.
• Hang the device into the mounting plates (B) with the
screws (A). Check for stable support.
Establishing the power supply and cable connection
• Make sure the grid voltage corresponds to the figures on
the rating plate.
• Connect the sound bar and the subwoofer with the con-
nection cable. Plug the angled end into the socket on the
back of the sound bar and the other end of the cable into
the SPEAKER OUTPUT connection (6) of the subwoofer.
• Plug the mains plug (7) into a properly installed earthed
socket.
• Turn on the subwoofer by switching the power switch on
the back side of the device to the "ON" position.
Insert/Replace Battery in Remote Control
NOTE:
The lithium cell in the battery compartment of the remote
control was possibly secured with a foil for the transport.
This prolongs the lifetime of the battery. Please remove this
foil before the first use to make the remote control ready
for operation.
• Open the battery compartment on the underside of the
remote.
• Replace the cell with a battery of the same type (CR 2025).
Check that the polarity is correct (see battery compart-
ment).
• Close the battery compartment.
If the remote is not in use for a lengthy period of time, please
remove the battery to prevent the battery acid from "leaking".
WARNING:
• Do not expose the batteries to intense heat, such as
sunlight, fire or similar. Danger of explosion!
• Keep batteries out of the reach of children. They are
not toys.
• Do not force batteries open.
• Avoid contact with metallic objects. (Rings, nails, screws
etc.) Danger of short circuits!
• Short circuits may overheat or even ignite batteries.
This may lead to combustion.
• When transporting the batteries, cover the terminals for
your safety with an adhesive strip.
