[bit 14] INT (interrupt)
This bit is set when converted data is written to ADCR. When this bit is set with bit5 (INTE) set to "1",
an interrupt request is generated. If DMA is configured and enabled, DMA is activated instead. Writing
"1" to this bit has no effect. This bit is cleared by writing "0" or by the interrupt clear signal from the
DMA.
Notes:
• To clear this bit by writing "0", ensure that A/D conversion is not in progress.
• This bit is initialized to "0" at reset.
• Using an read-modify-write instruction, "1" is read from this bit.
[bit 13] INTE (Interrupt enable)
This bit enables and disables the interrupt.
•0: Interrupt disabled
•1: Interrupt enabled
When using DMA, set this bit (DMA is started by an interrupt request).
This bit is initialized to 0 at reset.
[bit 12] PAUS (A/D converter pause)
This bit is set when A/D conversion pauses.
Only one register is available for storing the A/D conversion result. Therefore, unless the conversion
results are transferred by DMA, the result data would be continuously updated and destroyed in
continuous conversion.
To prevent the above condition, the system is so designed as not to store the next converted-data when a
conversion result is not transferred yet (INT = "1"), with INTE = "1". A/D conversion pauses during that
period. When transfer by DMA ends or when "0" is set to INT bit, A/D conversion is resumed. Once this
bit is set, it is not cleared by itself. Write "0" to clear this bit.
This bit is valid only when DMA is used.
Notes:
• Regarding the convert data protection function, see section 18.5 "Conversion Data Protection Function"
• This bit is initialized to "0" at reset.
[bit 11 and bit 10] STS1 and STS0 (Start source select)
These bits are initialized to "00
Select an A/D conversion activation cause by setting these bits.
