Note 1:
PAD value can be set in combination of two Location IDs by AIVCL (KIND = 1). The value ranges 0
[dB] to 16 [dB] in 2 dB increments. This PAD value and PAD value by ASYD, Index 4, Bit 5 (PAD Con-
trol for Station-to-Station Call) are applied in total to DtermIP and DtermIP INASET. As an example,
when setting 4 dB PAD between 2 locations by AIVCL, 0+4 = 4 dB (SEND), 9+4 = 13 dB (RECEIVE)
are applied.
PAD value can be set in combination of two Location IDs by AIVCL (KIND = 2). The value ranges 0
Note 2:
[dB] to 6 [dB] in 3 dB increments. This PAD value and PAD value by ASYD, Index 4, Bit 5 (PAD Control
for Station-to-Station Call) are applied in total to MC. However, the value cannot exceed 15 dB in total.
As an example, when setting 3 dB PAD between 2 locations by AIVCL, 0+3 = 3 dB (SEND), 5+3 = 8
dB (RECEIVE) are applied.
Note 3:
PAD value can be set by entering command from a maintenance terminal connected to the Analog MC.
The value ranges from 0 dB to 15 dB in 1 dB increments. (ex. SET PAD)
