4. Maintenance Administration Terminal (PCPro)

This section explains the installation procedure of PCPro. The PCPro can be connected to the system via one of
the following:
• Using LAN Cable
• Using RS-232C Cable (IOC card provides RS-232C interface.)
• Using RS-232C Cable via MODEMs (IOC card provides RS-232C interface.)

When Using LAN Cable

When connecting the PCPro using LAN cables, connect the LAN cables referring to the figure below.
Connect a LAN cable (straight-through) to LAN2 of Telephony Server.

Note: In the case of connecting some devices such as MC, IPPAD, PHD circuit card, a switching hub is
necessary to connect them with PCPro.
