Setting up DHCP Options

- DNS Server Address, Domain Name (Microsoft Windows NT)

This section explains how to set DHCP options for IP Enabled Dterm to obtain DNS server address, domain
name. Refer to
1.1.3 Setting up DHCP Options - Default Gateway (Microsoft Windows
[IP Address of DNS server]
STEP 1: Start DHCP Manager by selecting "Start" -> "Programs" -> "Administrative Tools [Common]" ->
"DHCP Manager." If "Microsoft DHCP Server" has not been installed on the PC, install it referring
to 1.1.1 Installing DHCP in Microsoft Windows NT Server.
STEP 2: Select the activated scope (highlighted in blue) in the "DHCP Servers" list box.
STEP 3: Select "DHCP Options" -> "Scope" (or "Global") on the menu bar. "DHCP Options: Scope" dialog
box appears.
STEP 4: Select "006 Server" from "Unused Options" list box and click "Add" button. "006 Server" moves to
"Active Options:" list box.
