Printing
If
you have a serial printer connected to your terminal, you can print data using the
methods described here. Of course, the printer must be ready for operation and properly
connected to the terminal. The terminal's setup must match the printer's requirements.
Printing the Screen Contents
Press the I
Print Screen
I key. This causes the display contents to be sent to the printer. The
current value of the
Prlnt Scroll Reglon
field in Setup Mode dictates whether the
entire screen is printed or just the scrolling region. (The scrolling region is the area
between the top and bottom margins set by an application program.)
Auto Print Mode
Auto Print Mode causes all data received from the computer to be both displayed on the
screen and sent to the printer attached to the terminal.
There are two ways to turn on Auto Print Mode. One way is to press I
Print Screen
I while
holding down the
@ill
key. The other way is select Auto in the
Prl n t Mode
field in
Setup.

The other way is to select Normal in the

Setup.
Print Controller Mode
In Print Controller Mode, all data received from the computer is sent to the printer
without being displayed on the screen.
You can turn on Print Controller Mode by selecting Controller in the
P r

n t Mode
field
in Setup. To turn off Print Controller Mode, select Normal in this same field.
