8. Lift door panel up off of door. 9. Disconnect wire from back of mirror control panel. 10. Remove bolt below speaker. 11. Disconnect speaker wire. Set speaker aside. 12. Disconnect mirror wire harness. 13. Remove three mirror mounting bolts. 14.
While using sturdy gloves, position your fingers behind the outboard edge of the mirror. Pull back on the mirror to dislodge it from the center hub and remove the mirror from the housing. Press in the rubber grommet into the mirror housing that surrounds the mirror harness.

Pull the rubber grommet back out from the mirror housing and reposition. Cut a slot in the foam disc just large enough to accommodate the anti-rotation prongs on the motor adaptor (on the Signal® mirror). Place the foam disc on the back of the Signal® mirror. 3. Guide the wire harnesses down into the door and bolt the mirror housing on the door. On the inside of the door there are two small holes at the bottom of where the plastic canister base is attached. The holes may be hidden behind foam insulation.

5. Pull the rubber boot out from the door frame. 6. There are two holes at the bottom of the rubber boot. Guide the wire harness into one of the holes. 7. Remove any slack in the wire harness until the harness is hidden behind the rubber boot.

5. Guide the new wire harnesses from both sides of the vehicle down to the bottom of the driver side door frame. Roll over part of the carpeting along the door frame to expose the electrical wiring. Locate the GREEN WITH ORANGE STRIPE wire from within the wire bundle. Turn the ignition key so that electrical power is on and activate the driver side turn indicator.

USE THE INCLUDED WIRE TAPS AND FOLLOW THE FOUR STEPS ABOVE TO SPLICE INTO THE TURN INDICATOR WIRES 7. Make sure the harnesses are routed securely to the bottom of the driver side door frame and enough slack is left for splicing. 8.
