(TV), videos (VCR), Freeview™ & satellite receivers (SAT), cable TV boxes (CTV) & DVD players (DVD). Your Universal Remote Control (URC) is pre-programmed in the factory. Simply enter the correct device codes for your equipment and your URC is ready to use. - Page 3 HOW TO SET UP YOUR RCx4 The RCx4 has 4 Device Modes (TV, VCR, SAT & DVD) Your RCx4 can be set-up either by entering the appropriate codes from the list of codes supplied or by using either the Auto or Manual code search facility. Instructions for all three methods follow.
- Page 4 SETUP BY ENTERING DEVICE CODE continued 11. Once you have found a suitable code, to store it, press the TV INDICATOR key twice. The TV INDICATOR key will flash twice and then go out as will the STATUS INDICATOR. 12. If none of the TV codes listed for your brand of TV work correctly, select the code that provides the best results.
