2. Remove the screws holding the modem in place (Fig. 30: ).

3. Carefully remove the tape holding the modem cable on the main board.
4. Disconnect the modem cable from the main board (Fig. 30: ).
5. Take the modem with the cable away from the main board and put them aside.
