Getting Started – Turning On the PD-1000 Hold the Play /Pause but ton to turn on the Jukebox. Once it turns on, you will see t he word “ init ializ ing… ”on t he backlight display . The Portable Jukebox is now ready for you to use, after you see the Main Menu.
For songs in the MP3 format and recorded from the line-in source, they are grouped under “MP3-Record” in Artist and Album. You can find a “Line-in” folder when you connect the PD-1000 t o your computer **. MP3 recording function is an optional feature.
Selecting A Song After “Elton John” has been highlighted, press either the Right key or the OK button to access the menu in which all songs performed by Elton John are shown. You can then press the Play button to start playing, or select a particular song by using the Up and Down keys again.
Record Menu The Record Menu can be accessed by pressing the Record button from the Main Menu when the PD-1000 is not playing. Go to “Rec Setting” inside “Settings” to control source, format and bit rate before recording. Start and Stop Recording Press the Record button one more time to start recording.
Play mode consists of a combination of Normal, Single, Repeat and Shuffle logics. There are totally nine combinations in the PD-1000: Normal – Play continuously from a particular song to the last song in the database.
My Playlist Playlist Creation You can create your own playlist from the Music library. Use the Up and Down keys to select “My playlist” in the sub-menu, then press the OK button to access the next level of the sub-menu. Select “Create Playlist”...
The Jukebox will automatically request you to perform this function after you unplugged the PD-1000 from the USB cable. Alternatively, you can select “Update DB” in the Organize Sub-menu and press the OK button to begin the task.
Databas e Update Vs Rebuild Databas e "Updated Database " will compare the existing songs in HD with the Mu- sic Library (database) and only the differenc e between the two wil l be processed. On the other hand, “Rebuil d Database” will generate a new Music Library according to song in HD and replace t he old one directly .
