    Powering the Camera Inserting the Battery Insert the battery into the camera. Use two size AA alkaline batteries, two size AA nickel batteries, two size AA nickel hydride batteries, two size AA lithium batteries or one CR-V3 lithium battery pack.     Taking Pictures Setting the Shooting Functions Changing the Mode Capture mode is for taking pictures and Playback mode is for playing back or erasing images.
