General The appliance is CE marked, which means that it complies with the require- ments of the EU machinery directive with regard to product safety. Product safety means that the design of the appliance will prevent personal injury or damage to property.

Safety instructions in the event of malfunction In case of a serious emergency, all functions of the appliance must be stopped STOP by turning the mains switch to the OFF position.

    3.1. General 3.1.1. Intended use of the appliance Metos Marvel is a steamer for cooking, warming up processed and convenien- ce food and defrosting frozen food with/without pressure. USE OF THE APPLIANCE FOR OTHER PURPOSES THAN STATED ABOVE IS STOP PROHIBITED.

General Carefully read the instructions in this manual as it contains important information regarding proper, effi cient and safe installation and maintenance of the appliance. The installation of this appliance must be carried out in the accordance with the manufacturers instructions and following local regulations.

Electrical connection Before making the connection to the mains, ensure that the voltage and fre- STOP quency are as indicated on the appliance rating plate. In order to make eventual future service easier and increase safety a mains switch must be installed near the appliance.

For the connection the unit is equipped with R 1/2” outer thread, a mud sepa- rator and a back pressure valve (for details see ”Technical specifi cation / instal- lation drawings).
