POWER STANDBY/ON switch
This is the switch for electric power.
ON: When set to the ON position, the power is supplied and
the player becomes operational.
STANDBY: When set to the STANDBY position, the main power flow
is cut and the player is no longer fully operational. A
minute flow of power feeds the player to maintain
operation readiness.
2 TRACK SEARCH buttons ( 4, ¢ )
Each time the button is pressed, playback advances or reverses to the
beginning of the track.

SEARCH buttons ( 1, ¡ )
While the button is kept pressed, playback rapidly advances or
reverses toward the end or beginning of the disc.

LOOP OUT/EXIT button
When this button is pressed during playback while the cue point has
already been stored in memory or the loop-in point (start point) has
already been set, the current position is designated as the out point
(end point) and loop playback (repeated playback without sound
interruption) starts. The button blinks during the loop playback.
When this button is pressed during loop playback, loop playback is
canceled and normal playback continues.

NOMENCLATURE DES PANNEAUX

Forced ejection hole
In case the door cannot be opened by pressing the eject
button due to a certain reason, this unit is provided with a
mechanism for opening the door manually.
1. Unplug the power cord from the power outlet.
2. Fabricate a key a using a clip (or any metallic wire with a
diameter of about 1 mm and length of about 50 mm).
3. Insert key a straight into hole b shown in the illustration
1.

Ouverture forcée
Si, pour une raison quelconque, le volet ne peut pas être
ouvert par une simple pression sur la touche prévue à cet
effet, il a été prévu que l'ouverture manuelle soit possible.

1. Débranchez la fiche du cordon d'alimentation de la prise
secteur.
2. Confectionnez une clé a en utilisant un trombone (ou tout
autre fil métallique d'environ 1 mm de section et 50 mm de
longueur).
3. Introduisez la clé a dans le trou b comme le montre
l'illustration 1.
4. Tournez la clé a vers la gauche 2.

Interrupteur d'alimentation (POWER STANDBY/ON)
Cet interrupteur commande la mise sous et hors tension.
ON: Lorsque l'interrupteur est dans cette position, l'appareil
est sous tension et prêt à fonctionner.
STANDBY: Avec l'interrupteur en position STANDBY, l'appareil n'est
pas sous-tension et ne peut pas être utiliser. Il est
cependant traversé par un léger courant qui le rend
utilisable sans attente dès la mise sous tension.
2 Touches de saut de plage (TRACK SEARCH 4, ¢)
A chaque pression sur la touche, le lecteur saute au début de la plage
suivante ou précédente.

Touches de recherche (SEARCH 1, ¡)
Tant qu'on maintient la pression sur la touche, le défilement rapide
vers la fin ou vers le début du disque continue.

Touche LOOP OUT/EXIT
Lorsque vous appuyez sur cette touche pendant la lecture et alors que
le point de repère a déjà été mis en mémoire, ou que le point d'entrée
de la boucle (début de la boucle) a déjà été précisé, la position actuelle
est considérée comme le point de sortie (fin de la boucle) et la lecture
en boucle (répétition de la lecture sans interrupàtion des sons)
commence. Le voyant de la touche clignote pendant la lecture en
boucle.
Si vous appuyez sur cette touche pendant la lecture en boucle, ce
mode de fonctionnement est abandonné et la lecture normale reprend.
